Plainfield, N.J., is searching for an investment consultant for its $10 million 457 plan, said CindyLea Weber, city purchasing agent.
The city issued an RFP because it currently does not have a firm providing these services; Ms. Weber said the city has had a consultant in the past, but could not provide the name of the most recent firm. MetLife and Nationwide Financial are the plan's record keepers.
Proposals are due on July 28. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
The RFP is available on the city's procurement website. Registration is required.
