Sunrise General Employees wants growth equity, core real estate managers

Sunrise (Fla.) General Employees' Retirement Fund is searching for a domestic large-cap growth equity manager to run $20 million to $30 million and a core real estate manager to run $10 million to $20 million, according to RFPs posted on the website of Dahab Associates, the $188 million pension fund's investment consultant.

The RFPs do not provide reasons for the searches or funding sources. According to the pension fund's most recently available investment report, as of March 31, the pension fund did not have any assets invested in core real estate. The pension fund as of that date had one active domestic large-cap equity manager, Brown Advisory, which ran $38 million.

The RFPs are available on Dahab's website. Proposals for both RFPs are due at 5 p.m. EDT on July 28. Timelines for decisions have yet to be determined.

William E. Dahab, principal and director of research at Dahab Associates, was not immediately available to provide further information.
