Gresham House Asset Management brings on head of distribution

Michael Hart was named head of distribution at Gresham House Asset Management, a spokesman said.

The position is new. Mr. Hart is responsible for distribution across alternative strategies, including private equity and real assets, as well as for developing long-term investment offerings for institutional investors such as local government and corporate pension funds, endowments and family offices.

Mr. Hart reports to Rupert Robinson, managing director.

“(Mr. Hart) is joining Gresham House at a particularly important time in our development following the announcement of our proposed acquisition of Hazel Capital, the specialist new energy infrastructure manager, and the forthcoming launch of the British Strategic Investment Fund, which will target long-term institutional investment in housing and infrastructure across the U.K.,” Mr. Robinson said in a news release.

Mr. Hart was global head of business development at Amundi Alternative Investments. A spokesman was not available to comment about a replacement by press time.

Gresham House managed £363 million ($447 million) as of Dec. 31.
