Wyoming launches record-keeper search for state 457 plan

Wyoming Retirement System, Cheyenne, is searching for a record keeper for its $612 million 457 plan, said Lori A. Galles, purchasing manager for the state’s department of administration and information.

The retirement system issued an RFP because the contract of current record keeper Empower Retirement will expire on March 31, 2018. The firm is invited to rebid.

Investment consultant RVK is assisting.

Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT on June 20. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Aug. 15, with a decision expected shortly thereafter.

The RFP is available on procurement website Public Purchase. Registration is required.
