Wilshire recruits BT Pension Scheme executive to lead responsible investment research

Daniel Ingram was named vice president of responsible investment research and consulting at Wilshire Consulting, a spokeswoman confirmed.

The position is new. Mr. Ingram will assist in expanding Wilshire Consulting's environmental, social, and governance and socially responsible investing capabilities. He will also be responsible for supporting Wilshire's traditional advisory clients in addition to its clients in its outsourced CIO unit. He will report to Andrew Junkin, president of Wilshire Consulting, and Steve Foresti, chief investment officer.

Mr. Ingram was head of responsible investment for the 43.1 billion ($55.5 billion) BT Pension Scheme, London. David Griffiths, director of strategy at the pension fund, now has responsibility for responsible investment activity, said Melanie Bradley, a spokeswoman for the plan.
