Ohio School Employees assigns $50 million to Silver Lake buyout fund

Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, committed $50 million to buyout fund Silver Lake Partners V, according to highlights from the April 20-21 board meeting posted on the pension fund’s website.

The $13 billion pension fund previously committed $50 million to Silver Lake Partners IV in 2013.

As of Feb. 28, the actual allocation to global private equity was 9.4%. The target allocation is 10%.
