CIBC Asset Management chooses Maple-Brown Abbott to subadvise fund

CIBC Asset Management hired Maple-Brown Abbott as the lone subadviser to its Renaissance Global Infrastructure Fund, effective June 27.

Maple-Brown Abbott replaced RARE Infrastructure, said Caroline Van Hasselt, CIBC spokeswoman. Ms. Van Hasselt said the decision to change subadvisers was made “following considerable research,” but she did not specify the reason for RARE’s termination.

The Renaissance Global Infrastructure Fund had C$1.93 billion ($1.41 billion) as of March 31, Ms. Van Hasselt said.
