Consultant Barnett Waddingham launched a retirement joint venture with actuarial firm Milliman.
The new business, MBW International, will provide advice on global retirement benefits to companies with headquarters in the U.K., and to global companies that have U.K. operations, said a Barnett Waddingham news release Monday.
“MBW International will allow us to extend our global pensions expertise to support the full needs of multinational organizations with their overseas pension arrangements, whist retaining the independent ownership structure of Barnett Waddingham,” said Nick Salter, senior partner at Barnett Waddingham, an actuarial, administration and consulting firm, in the news release.
The establishment of the business “enhances the range of retirement consulting services Milliman can offer its multinational and U.K.-headquartered clients,” added Stephen A. White, president and CEO at Milliman, in the same release. “The obvious synergies between Milliman and Barnett Waddingham are built on our shared values: Independence, quality, and dedication to superior client service.”
Details on personnel changes and the new business were not immediately available.
