Greenville Firefighters seeks investment consultant

Greenville (S.C.) Firefighters’ Pension Plan is searching for an investment consultant, said a procurement official in an email.

The search is being conducted because the contract of current consultant Wells Fargo Advisors expires this year. Wells Fargo is invited to rebid. The RFP is available on the city’s website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. EDT on April 27. There is no set date for a hiring decision.

As of Dec. 31, the roughly $45 million pension fund has an asset allocation of 56.9% equities, 39.3% fixed income, 2.8% cash alternatives, 0.9% real assets and 0.1% other.
