Texas Teachers commits $378 million to 2 managers

Texas Teacher Retirement System, Austin, committed a total of $378 million to two alternative investment funds in February, a transaction report showed.

The $133.2 billion pension fund committed $325 million to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice X, a large buyout fund. The fund’s portfolio managers will focus on domestic investment opportunities.

TRS also committed €50 million ($53 million) to EPISO 4 SCSp, a value-added European real estate co-investment with Tristan Capital Partners.
