Manatee County, Bradenton, Fla., is searching for an investment consultant for its 457 plan, said William Bryant, contracts negotiator.
The county is seeking a consultant to assist in “maintaining an investment policy with any necessary amendments consistent with best practices in the industry and will advise the county on the provision of investment options,” according to an RFP posted on the county's website.
Mr. Bryant would not provide any further information. Information on the current consultant and the asset size of the 457 plan were not immediately available.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST on Feb. 24. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
