Amundi taps head of directional strategies in alternatives unit

Navik Patel joined Amundi’s alternative investments unit as head of directional strategies, senior analyst, a spokeswoman said.

Mr. Patel replaced Amelie Derambure. The spokeswoman said Ms. Derambure moved to another position within Amundi; further details were not available by press time.

Mr. Patel was previously a senior investment manager within Aberdeen Asset Management’s alternative investments business. A spokesman for Aberdeen said Mr. Patel’s responsibilities will be shared among existing members of the team.

Amundi has €850 billion ($921.9 billion) in assets under management.
