Gordon County School System, Calhoun, Ga., is searching for an investment consultant for its 403(b) and 457 plans.
An RFP posted on the school system's website states the search is for “qualified retirement plan advisers to perform the full range of services related to the design, implementation, maintenance, communication and improvement of the GCSS plan” for the 403(b) and 457 plans, which have combined assets of $4 million. Information regarding a current consultant could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on the school's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on Aug. 20. A timetable for a decision is yet to be determined, but a contract start date of Jan. 1 is scheduled.
