Sacramento utility seeks consultant for two DC plans

Sacramento (Calif.) Municipal Utility District is searching for an investment consultant for its $208 million 401(k) and $99 million 457 plans, said Sandy Dragon, supervising procurement specialist.

The RFP is being issued because of the upcoming contract expiration of Mercer.

Mercer is invited to rebid, Ms. Dragon said.

Both the 401(k) and 457 plans offer 17 investment options.

The RFP is available online here.

The deadline for proposals is 5 p.m. PDT on Sept. 8. A hiring decision is anticipated before the end of the year.
