Alameda County Employees puts $25 million toward Great Hill buyout fund

Alameda County Employees' Retirement Association, Oakland, Calif., committed up to $25 million to Great Hill Equity Partners V, according to recently released minutes of the Aug. 14 investment committee meeting.

It is a private equity buyout fund managed by Great Hill Partners that invests in growth companies.

Investment consultant Strategic Investment Solutions assisted the $6 billion pension fund.
