Delaware Public Employees hunting for actuarial services

Delaware Public Employees' Retirement System, Dover, is looking for actuarial services for the $7.5 billion retirement system's nine pension funds, according to an RFP posted Friday.

The contract is for three years, with two one-year extensions. It begins July 1.

The current actuary, Cheiron, is eligible to bid, spokeswoman Jessica Eisenbrey said in an e-mail.

The RFP is available from the state's website. Bids are due 3 p.m. EDT April 26. No information was available on when a decision will be made.
