Pinnacle West Capital hires Fidelity for record keeping

Pinnacle West Capital Corp., Phoenix, hired Fidelity Investments as record keeper of its 401(k) plan, said Jason Kelly, benefits financial analyst for the firm.

Fidelity replaces J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services. Mr. Kelly had no further information regarding the reason for the change.

A blackout period for participants begins at 4 p.m. EDT on March 25 and ends during the week of March 31, according to an 8-K filing with the SEC on Monday.

As of Dec. 31, 2011, the Pinnacle West Capital Corp. Savings Plan had $911 million in assets, according to the company's most recent 11-K filing.
