Baring Asset Management chooses new product and fund development head

Cora Gibbons was appointed head of product and fund development at Baring Asset Management, confirmed Joanna Pope, a spokeswoman for Barings.

Ms. Gibbons replaces Katie Bowmar, who left the industry to spend more time with her family, Ms. Pope wrote in an e-mail.

Ms. Gibbons, based in London, reports to David Stevenson, head of product and business development, and is “responsible for all elements of the product development process,” Ms. Pope said in an e-mail.

Ms. Gibbons was head of the international product group at Natixis Global Asset Management, where she was responsible for all product activities, excluding those in the U.S., according to a Baring Asset Management news release.
