Community Capital Management adds two positions

Barbara VanScoy was named chief impact investment officer and Cayce Shawn was hired as mortgage-backed securities trader for fixed-income manager Community Capital Management, confirmed Jamie Horwitz, a spokeswoman for CCM.

Both positions are new. Ms. VanScoy is a founder, board chairwoman and senior portfolio manager for Community Capital Management and will retain those duties. Ms. Horwitz said the new title better reflects Ms. VanScoy's role in managing impact investment efforts.

Mr. Shawn will report to executive vice president and senior portfolio manager Michelle Rogers. He previously was a senior vice president at Mesirow Financial; plans to replace him could not be learned. Debbie Krieps, Mesirow chief marketing officer, could not be reached by press time.
