Franklin Regional Retirement System, Greenfield, Mass., rehired Income Research & Management to run $11 million in active domestic core fixed income, confirmed Dale Kowacki, executive director.

The $87 million pension fund issued an RFP in October because of state Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission regulations that require that portfolios are put out to bid at least once every five years.

There were no other finalists.

Investment consultant Dahab Associates assisted.
