Chicago Municipal Employees' Annuity & Benefit Fund is searching for an investment consultant, confirmed Michael Walsh, chief investment officer.
The $5.6 billion pension fund is conducting the search because of the expiration of current consultant Marquette Associates' contract on March 31. Marquette is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available from the fund's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT on March 20. The timetable for finalist interviews and a decision have yet to be determined.
