Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System returned 12.9% in 2012

Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System, Oklahoma City, returned 12.9% for the year ended Dec. 31, said Tom Spencer, executive director.
Domestic equity was the top performer at 17.3%; followed by international equity, 15.4%; and fixed income, 6.1%.
The $7.4 billion pension fund does not invest in alternatives. Its active equity investments outperformed the passive portfolios.
