Alabama Trust Fund hunting for core real estate manager

Alabama Trust Fund Board, Montgomery, is searching for a manager to run $80 million in a core real estate commingled fund, according to an RFP posted on Alabama state Treasurer Young Boozer's website.
The $3.3 billion trust fund had about $76 million invested with two real estate managers as of Sept. 30 and a target allocation of 5% of total assets, according a quarterly report.
Investment consultant Callan Associates is assisting.
The RFP is on the treasurer's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT March 22. A hiring date was not specified.
