Allianz Global Investors adds head of institutional sales

Donald Gervais was named managing director and head of institutional sales for North America at Allianz Global Investors, according to spokeswoman Megan Frank.

The position is new. Mr. Gervais will report to Jill Lohrfink, managing director and head of institutional for North America.

Mr. Gervais was managing director and global co-head of fundamental equity client portfolio management at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He will not be replaced, said spokeswoman Andrea Raphael. Edward “Rocky” Wilkinson, managing director who was co-head with Mr. Gervais, will become sole head of fundamental equity client portfolio management.
