Hertfordshire superannuation fund issue calls for bond managers

Hertfordshire County Council Superannuation Fund, Hertford, England, issued an RFI for managers to run £350 million ($552.2 million) to £400 million in active core-plus U.K. fixed income and £150 million to £200 million in active unconstrained/absolute-return global bond strategies, according to European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
The RFI is available here. Proposals are due March 5.
Mike Parsons, director of resources and performance at Hertfordshire County Council, could not be reached by press time for additional information.
The pension fund has about £2.4 billion in assets.
