Watershed Investment chooses ex-Texas Tech CIO as senior consultant

Gary Ratliff was named senior consultant at Watershed Investment Consultants, confirmed spokeswoman Terri Baldwin.
It is a new position.
Mr. Ratliff is responsible for researching, analyzing and developing strategic recommendations for client investment programs and also conducting research on alternative strategies.
Mr. Ratliff was previously chief investment officer at Texas Tech University System, Lubbock. The university has issued a job posting for his replacement on the university system's website.
Michael Horst, assistant vice chancellor and investments manager, was named interim CIO at Texas Tech, said Jim Brunjes, chief financial officer. There is no timetable for naming a permanent replacement, he added.
