James Walsh joined hedge fund consultant Albourne Partners in London as managing director and portfolio analyst.
It is a new position, said Simon Ruddick, Albourne's CEO and a managing director, in an e-mail.
Mr. Walsh closed his London-based global macro hedge fund management firm, Cayuga Capital Partners, late last year. He founded the firm in 2010, the same year he left his post as chief investment officer of the $5.2 billion endowment at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.
