Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System, Jefferson City, hired Quantum Capital Management to run $110 million in active domestic midcap growth equities, confirmed Brian Collett, chief investment officer.
Funding comes from the $4.9 billion pension fund's termination of Turner Investments for performance. Turner spokesman Tucker Hewes said the firm declined to comment.
