Fort Lauderdale Police & Fire chooses Foster & Foster as actuary

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Police & Fire Retirement System hired Foster & Foster as actuarial consultant, confirmed Fred Nesbitt, director of public information.
The $691 million pension fund issued an RFP in September because of the retirement of the pension fund's longtime actuary Randall Stanley, co-founder of Stanley, Holcombe & Associates.
Nyhart bought out Stanley Holcombe in 2011 and was a finalist, along with Buck Consultants and Cheiron.
