Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, Columbus, is searching for an actuarial consultant, confirmed spokeswoman Melissa Vince.
The bureau, which oversees $24 billion in assets, is conducting the search because the contract of current consultant, Deloitte Consulting, expires on June 30. The firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available from the state's procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT March 28. Finalist interviews are scheduled to begin May 1.
The contract is scheduled to run from July 1, 2013, to Sept. 30, 2015.
