San Diego County Deferred Compensation Program is searching for a bundled provider for its 401(a) and 457 plans, confirmed Richard Mccarvell, assistant procurement contracting officer.
Nationwide Retirement Solutions is the current provider and can rebid.
The selected firm will provide record keeping, administration, investment management, education and custodial trustee services for the two plans, which have a combined $900 million in assets. The plans have the same 20 investment options in addition to a series of target-date funds and a stable value option for each plan.
The request for qualifications is available on the county's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. PST Jan. 11. Candidates will be contacted in February and a hiring recommendation will be made in August.
