MassPRIM commits to 2 funds

Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, Boston, committed $100 million each to TowerBrook Investors IV, a middle-market buyout fund managed by TowerBrook Capital Partners, and Technology Crossover Ventures VIII, a late-stage venture capital fund, confirmed Michael Trotsky, executive director and chief investment officer.

The board, which oversees the state's $50.6 billion Pension Reserves Investment Trust fund, also approved rehiring Institutional Shareholder Services for another three years as proxy adviser, Mr. Trotsky said in a telephone interview.
