Wethersfield taps Fiduciary Investment Advisors as consultant for 3 funds

Wethersfield, Conn., rehired Fiduciary Investment Advisors as investment consultant for its Pension Trust Fund, Firefighters Pension Fund and new OPEB Trust Fund, with combined assets of $70 million, confirmed Susan Smith, town finance director.
The other finalists were Beirne Wealth Consulting, Clearbrook Global Advisors and Cafaro Greenleaf.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors previously was consultant for the two pension funds; this is the first consultant hired for the OPEB trust.
An RFP was issued in September.
