Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for an auditor, confirmed spokeswoman Evelyn Tatkovski.
The $49.5 billion pension fund is looking for a firm to conduct a financial audit for fiscal years 2013 and 2014, with possible one-year contract renewals for fiscal years 2015 through 2017.
Current auditor CliftonLarsonAllen is not eligible to rebid because the firm has held the contract twice, the limit the pension fund allows for auditing firms, Ms. Tatkovski said.
The RFP is available from the state's website. Proposals are due at 1:30 p.m. EST on Jan. 8.
