Massachusetts Water Resource pension fund eyes private equity funds of funds

Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Employees' Retirement System, Chelsea, is searching for a private equity fund-of-funds manager to run up to $6 million, confirmed Sheryl Trezise, executive director.

The $320 million pension fund is looking to add diversification to its portfolio, according to Ms. Trezise.

The RFI is available from the website of NEPC, the firm's investment consultant. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EST Dec. 28. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
