West Carolina University seeking investment consultant, manager

Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, N.C., is searching for an investment consultant and/or investment manager for its Western Carolina University Foundation and Western Carolina Endowment Fund, confirmed university spokesman Bill Studenc.

The university, with combined foundation and endowment assets of $49 million, is looking for firms that can provide either or both investment management and investment consulting services.

The current consultant is Yon-Drake & Associates. The firm is invited to rebid.

The RFP is available from the state's website.

University spokesman Bill Studenc could not provide further information by press time. Arthur Stephens, director of procurement and AP services, was not available by press time.
