Adrian Banner was named CEO at INTECH Investment Management, according to a statement from the company sent to Pensions & Investments.
Mr. Banner replaces Jennifer Young, who has stepped down, according to the statement. Ms. Young will serve as a consultant to INTECH in the next few months to assist in the transition. Attempts to reach Ms. Young were unsuccessful.
Mr. Banner was named chief investment officer earlier this year and will continue to serve in that role.
Ms. Young had been at INTECH since 1999. She was named co-CEO (with Robert Garvy) and president in 2009 and became lone CEO last Jan. 1.
INTECH, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group, had $41.9 billion in assets under management, as of Sept. 30.
