Medford Retirement Board issues actuary RFP

Medford (Mass.) Retirement Board is searching for an actuarial consultant, confirmed Tina Rapatano, administrator.
The $152 million pension fund is issuing an RFP because “our prior consultant's contract has expired and we are required by law to go out on an RFP,” Ms. Rapatano wrote in an e-mail. She would not name the consultant or say whether the firm was invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 10. A decision is expected by March 31.
A copy of the RFP can be requested by mail to Tina Rapatano, Administrator, Medford Retirement Office, Medford City Hall, Room 215, Medford, MA 02155 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
