Norwood Contributory seeks to fill actuarial consultant vacancy

Norwood (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an actuarial consultant, confirmed Debra Wilkes, board administrator of the $118 million pension fund.

The board does not have an actuarial consultant under contract, Ms. Wilkes said in an e-mail. Buck Consultants previously held the position and is invited to rebid.

The selected firm will complete an actuarial study of the retirement system as of Jan. 1, 2012, among other duties.

The RFP can be obtained by e-mailing Ms. Wilkes at dwilkes@norwoodma.gov.

Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST Jan. 15. The board is looking to make a hiring decision later that month, Ms. Wilkes said.
