San Francisco City & County commits $95 million to 3 private equity funds

San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System made a total of $95 million in private equity commitments, confirmed Robert Shaw, interim deputy director of investments.
The $15.8 billion pension fund committed $50 million to Knightsbridge VIII-A and $15 million to Knightsbridge Venture Capital VIII, the pension fund's eighth overall commitment to Knightsbridge Advisers funds.
The fund also committed $30 million to ABRY Senior Equity IV, the pension fund's 10th commitment to an ABRY Partners Fund.
Alternatives consultant Portfolio Advisors assisted.
