Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association, Denver, named four finalists for its executive director position who will be interviewed by the board on Nov. 27, according to an announcement on the $40 billion pension fund's website.
The finalists are:
- Gregory Smith, interim executive director of Colorado PERA and the pension fund's chief operating officer and general counsel;
- Michael Nehf, executive director of the $62.6 billion Ohio State Teachers' Retirement System, Columbus;
- Maureen Westgard, director of the $13.7 billion Louisiana Teachers' Retirement System, Baton Rouge; and
- Thomas Williams, executive director of the $6.5 billion Wyoming Retirement System, Cheyenne.
Mr. Smith took over the interim tag after Meredith Williams left the pension plan on June 30 to become executive director of the National Council on Teacher Retirement.
