Lehigh and Northampton transit puts consultant search into gear

Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority, Allentown, Pa., is searching for an investment consultant for its two pension plans, confirmed Melissa M. Gemelli, assistant executive director–finance/administration.

Wells Fargo Bank, trustee of the authority’s union and non-union plans, with combined assets of $11 million, had provided consulting services and will remain as trustee. The firm can bid for the investment consulting services, wrote Ms. Gemelli in an e-mail.

Proposals are due at 1:30 p.m. EST Dec. 14. The authority hopes to make a decision by the end of January.
