Maine commits up to $120 million to private equity

Maine Public Employees' Retirement System, Augusta, made commitments totaling up to $120 million to private equity funds, confirmed Andrew Sawyer, chief investment officer.
The $10.8 billion pension fund committed up to $30 million each to ABRY Senior Equity IV, Affinity Asia Pacific Fund IV, EnCap Energy Capital Fund IX and KKR Special Situations Fund. The funds are managed, respectively, by ABRY Partners; Affinity Equity Partners; EnCap Investments; and Kohlberg, Kravis Roberts.
