2 join Singapore office of Pioneer Investments, 1 in Japan

Matthew Marks joined Pioneer Investments in Singapore as sales director institutional for Asia outside of Japan and Korea, while Martin Park was named sales director for Korea and Hiromi Wada was named Japan representative in Tokyo.
All three positions are new, said Jack Lin, Pioneer's Singapore-based head of Asia and the Middle East, in an e-mail.
Mr. Marks was a director of institutional business at Prudential Asset Management in Singapore. A representative for Prudential, recently rebranded as Eastspring Investments, could not be reached for comment.
Mr. Park was an associate director, institutional business, at HSBC Global Asset Management (Hong Kong), where as he served as “team head” of HSBC's Korean institutional business, according to a Pioneer news release. HSBC spokesman Andy Chan said Sae Joon Choi has been covering the Korean market since Mr. Park's departure.
Mr. Wada came from Itau Japan Asset Management. An Itau spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for comment on a replacement.
