Two Harbors chooses lone CIO for REIT

William Roth was named sole chief investment officer at Two Harbors Investment, a REIT, confirmed spokeswoman July Hugen.

Mr. Roth was co-CIO with Steven Kuhn for the past three years, according to a news release from Two Harbors. Mr. Kuhn will concentrate on his role as partner and head of fixed-income trading at Pine River Capital Management, which manages Two Harbors' investments.

Separately, Matthew Koeppen, senior trader at Two Harbors, was promoted to managing director, and William Greenberg joined the firm as managing director. Mr. Greenberg was managing director and head of investment bank risk control strategy at UBS.
