Arlington County Employees pension fund in market for global custodian

Arlington County (Va.) Employees' Retirement System issued an RFP for a global custodian.
BNY Mellon is incumbent for the $1.5 billion pension fund and can rebid, Randee Stenroos, assistant director and pension investment officer, said in an e-mail.
Ms. Stenroos said the length of the contract is negotiable.
According to the RFP, the scope of work includes asset servicing, transaction accounting and reporting, and managing a securities lending program.
The RFP is available from the county's website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST on Nov. 26. A decision is expected to be made by early 2013.
