Western States Insulators & Allied Workers Individual Account Plan, Alameda, Calif., hired Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance to provide record keeping and educational services.
The $203 million Taft-Hartley defined contribution plan's previous provider was Marsh & McLennan.
Russ O'Brien, plan administrator for plan, said in a statement that MassMutual's “strong commitment to the Taft-Hartley market, exceptional service team and educational specialists and the well known MassMutual name” led to the firm's selection.
