Florida State Board of Administration, Tallahassee, on Monday issued an invitation to negotiate for administrative and actuarial services for the $12 billion Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.
The $156.9 billion FSBA, which oversees the hurricane fund, could hire two firms, John Kuczwanski, FSBA communications manager, said in an e-mail.
Paragon Strategic Solutions, the incumbent, provides both services. Its contract expires March 31, prompting the search, Mr. Kuczwanski said in the e-mail. Paragon can rebid.
The ITN is available from the board's website. Responses are due Nov. 20. The FSBA expects to make a decision Jan. 15.
FSBA isn't using a consultant in the search.
