Lutheran Medical Center picks new bundled DC provider

Lutheran Medical Center, New York, hired VALIC as bundled provider for its 401(k) and 403(b) plans with combined assets of $144 million, confirmed Frank Scheets, senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Lutheran has more than 3,500 eligible participants.

The five-year contract begins Dec. 3, Mr. Scheets said in an interview.

MetLife was the previous provider and was invited to rebid, Mr. Scheets said.

An RFP was issued earlier this year.
