Old Mutual Asset Management sells 5 affiliates to their management

Old Mutual Asset Management on Thursday announced it agreed to sell five of its affiliate money management firms — including Analytic Investors — to each of their senior management teams, confirmed spokesman Doug Hesney.

The firms are 2100 Xenon Group, 300 North Capital, Analytic Investors, Ashfield Capital Partners and Larch Lane Advisors, which had combined assets under management of $11.7 billion as of June 30.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

300 North Capital is a multiasset-class money manager; 2100 Xenon Group, alternatives; Larch Lane, hedge funds of funds; Ashfield, growth; and Analytic Investors, quantitative.

The sale leaves OMAM with nine affiliate money management firms, which had combined assets under management of $196.9 billion as of June 30.
